The Taymac MM2420C is a 2-gang outdoor weatherproof cover that is Extra Duty rated. It features a durable high-impact polycarbonate clear cover The box is standard depth 2.75″ deep, and includes the gasket and mounting hardware. The universal fit adapter system is a 55-in-1 custom device configuration, meaning there are 55 different options for fitment inside the box based on the included plates. The cover is lockable with a 1/8″ shackle opening.
Meets 2014 and 2017 NEC Electrical Code Extra Duty Requirements
The wall box meets 2014 and 2017 NEC Code 406.9 for receptacles being used in damp or wet locations. The cover meets the Extra-Duty requirements of a weatherproof enclosure even when the plug is inserted. Extra duty also means that it can withstand several durability requirements including cycle testing the hinged door, rain testing, hot and cold testing. The cover also has to meet UL’s Extra Duty requirements for impact testing, so you know that it can survive the rigors that any outdoor application can throw at it.
Durable Polycarbonate Cover is Weatherproof Even During Use
The cover resists rot, fading, and cracking in extreme temperatures. The cover still retains its weatherproof rating even when the cord is plugged in. It is UL listed for USA installations, and cUL listed for Canada installations.

This item qualifies for free ground shipping to anywhere in the USA and Canada. In-stock orders are shipped the same business day Monday-Friday from Boise, ID if ordered by 6pm EST.
