TayMac’s weatherproof deck power box provides a safe way to add an electrical outlet to raised outdoor wood or composite decks, and porches. Avoid long cords and put a receptacle exactly where it is needed most, and protect your outlet from water spray, rain, or snow. The sleek and slim design offers an attractive high-end look for the outside of any home or commercial building. The ADA compliant low-profile bezel is only .014 inches thick with a beveled edge providing a near flush appearance without creating a tripping hazard. The reinforced cover features a grip texture making it slip-resistant and able to handle heavy loads.  Perfect for power tools, grills, lights, fans, mobile devices, and any electric appliance you want to use outside.

The box is gray and includes a matching 20 Amp USB-A/C charging tamper resistant (TR) and weather resistant (WR) outlet, as well as matching wood installation screws for the most visually appealing deck box on the market.

Simple and Safe to Use Outdoors

The TayMac DOC320GUSB allows up to two power cables to be plugged in and used at the same time no matter the weather conditions, simply connect your plugs, close the lid, and you are done. The cover secures the power cables in place when closed, there is never any strain on the plugs, and they can’t come unplugged.  Gain access to the outlet easily by pulling the tab and lifting the cover, the cover stays open in the 90 degree position so you can plug into the outlet. After you have connected your plugs, lower the lid and press shut until the latch clicks in the locked position. 

Easy Installation

Use the included template to cut a 7 3/8″ x 5 1/4″ hole in the deck where there are no joists interfering. Per your local code requirements, run your power wire into the included weatherproof back box, then install the included WR outlet into the back box. Install the supplied weatherproof gasket around the outlet, and use the 4 supplied screws to attach the outlet to the deck box. The last step is to drop the deck box into the hole, and secure to the deck with the included four color matched wood screws. 

20 Amp USB Charging Matching Gray WR, TR Outlet

The included gray outlet is a perfect match for the gray colored box, the outlet is 20 Amp rated with Tamper Resistant (TR) plugs. There is one USB-A port and 1 USB-C port that offer 5 Amps of shared charging. The ports are intelligent charging ports which sense the device being plugged in and safely send the maximum amount of power the unit can handle. The outlet meets NEC code installed in the box because it has the required weather resistant (WR) listing. 

Weatherproof Power During Use

The heavy duty UV-resistant outlet box is constructed of polycarbonate for extreme durability and provides protection even during use. The cover resists rot, fading, and cracking in extreme temperatures. A rain chamber and “drip loop” design with wide drip holes provide two levels of protection while in use, and the pre-attached weather gasket keeps water from entering around the self-closing lid. The outlet box includes two cord hooks to hold power cords in place, including most 16 gauge grounded extension cords, for a secure and clean appearance. The included weatherproof back box is deep; featuring plenty of space to wire the outlet, or if you are daisy chaining units together. The back box has three 1/2″ knockout plugs, and 2 closure plugs for unused holes.

This item qualifies for free ground shipping to anywhere in the USA and Canada. In-stock orders are shipped the same business day Monday-Friday from Boise, ID if ordered by 6pm EST.
Return Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return this item for a full refund of the merchandise total, the return request must be made within 45 days from order date. Please note that you are responsible for all return shipping charges unless the item is defective or damaged. Return credits are issued within 5 business days to your original method of payment once the item is received and inspected.
