Two Stage Pop Up Outlet, GFCI and USB Charging Outlets

The Lew Electric PUR20-RSS-AC-2P-QI-IO is a round, spill proof, retractable countertop pop-up power outlet that hides in kitchen countertops, or any worktop surface, and offers protection from liquids. What makes this model unique is that it offers GFCI and USB charging outlets. Pull up halfway and you get two power and one USB-A and one USB-C charging port, pull up all the way and you get an additional two power plugs. The GFCI outlet protects the USB charging outlet, this pop up outlet does not need to be plugged into a GFCI outlet, the entire unit features integrated GFCI protection. 

Press the top and pull-up the outlet to gain access to the first outlet, if needed pull it up all the way and gain access to both outlets. You then have access to 4 power plugs, 1 USB-A charging port, and 1 USB-C charging port. The top features a QI charging top and will wirelessly charge any QI enabled device in the fully open, half open, or closed position. When the outlet is not needed, the unit hides out of the way and disappears under the counter. The circular top is a stainless plastic finish (wireless charging does not work through metal) perfect for matching stainless steel appliances.

Meets 2014 NEC Electrical Code 406.5E for Installation in Countertops

The pop up meets code for kitchen and wet location installations in counters, it is compliant to 2014 National Electrical Code (NEC) 406.5E for countertop use in the USA and Canada. The receptacles have tamper-proof plugs and is Underwriters Laboratories (UL) listed. The complete pop up unit is ETL listed for USA installations, and cETL and CSA approved for Canada installations. The outlets have passed UL’s 8oz spill test, and the top is spill proof rated keeping the unit completely safe from liquids in the closed position.

Waterproof Protection Against Liquids

The top features the highest water protection of any pop up on the market, it has achieved an industry leading IP54 spill proof rating from UL laboratories. In the closed position the top is waterproof, a seamless top keeps watering from entering the pop up. In the open position, the electrical outlet has passed UL’s 8oz spill test. A gasket on the bottom of the pop up keeps spilled liquid from entering into the hole in the counter, and keeping liquid from entering into your cabinets.

The Most Outlets and USB Charging Ports Pop-Up with Wireless Charging

The USB-A charging port is QC 3.0 rated, it can deliver up to 18 Watts of quick charging power. QC 3.0 technology can adjust the voltage and safely deliver the maximum amount of power that the device can handle. 

The USB-C charging port is designed to be able to charge newer devices at an incredible fast rate up to 20 Watts. The ports are not only QC 3.0 rated, but also PD 2.0 rated. With integrated Power Delivery charging not only can you charge phones and tablets, but also laptops. 

The four plugs are tamper resistant (TR) meeting code, and offer the peace of mind knowing that children can’t put small objects into the sockets and electrocute themselves. The plugs are rated for 20 Amps, you can plug in the most demanding small appliances ensuring that the outlet won’t trip. The plugs are backwards compatible with 15 Amp plugs, meaning you can plug in a 15 Amp plug into the 20 Amp socket. 

The top offers QI wireless charging, simply set a QI enabled smart phone on the silver plastic top to start charging.  The charging works in both the open, and closed position. The top offers super fast charging up to 15 watts of power. The top is case friendly, and will wirelessly charge through any non-metal phone case up to 5mm thick. Your smart phone can still be used while it is charging. The wireless charging is certified safe with integrated over-voltage protection, and temperature control.

The wireless charging feature will work with any phone that has QI charging technology, including the most popular phones such as the iPhone 8 and above models, Samsung Galaxy 6 and above, and Samsung Note 5 and above. The top is plastic because wireless charging will not work through metal. Rest assure that the plastic is extremely durable and scratch-resistant. 

Easy Installation – Cut the Hole and Plug In

This pop up grommet couldn’t be any easier to install for a stone fabricator and electrician. The in-counter outlet only needs a 3.75” round hole cut in the countertop. After placing the unit in the hole, secure to the underside of the counter with the included threaded flange. To power, simply plug the end of the 9’ cord into a 20 Amp outlet, install the included trim ring, and installation is complete. The pop up outlet has integrated GFCI protection and will shut off all power in the pop up if it detects an unsafe current.

The Lew Electric PUR20-RSS-AC-2P-QI-IO is perfect for any countertop location or kitchen island, that needs several plug-ins. It can be used in potentially wet locations requiring recessed power such as pantries, closets, garage work benches, bars, and varied uses at airports, hotels and restaurants. Use the pop up power strip to power small appliances such as coffee makers, blenders, toaster ovens, warming trays, and other items. It can also be used for charging mobile devices such as tablets and phones via the two USB charging ports or wireless charging top. The pop up can be installed in granite, quartz, marble, wood, laminate, concrete, or any surface up to 2 3/16” thick, where the required 3.75” hole can be cut.

The 2-step pop up outlet offers the benefit of opening to one outlet, or fully opening to gain access to both outlets. With the pop up outlet, get just the right amount of power and charging exactly where it is desired in your counter, while meeting electrical code, and keep dangerous cords from hanging over the sides of counters.

This item qualifies for free ground shipping to anywhere in the USA and Canada. In-stock orders are shipped the same business day Monday-Friday from Boise, ID if ordered by 6pm EST.
Return Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return this item for a full refund of the merchandise total, the return request must be made within 45 days from order date.
