The Lew Electric PUR20-B-GFI-2USB-AC is a spill proof countertop round pop up retractable power outlet that hides in your kitchen countertop, or any worktop surface that might be in range of liquids. Press the top and pull up the outlet to gain access to the power plugs, and USB charging ports. When the outlet is not needed, the unit hides out of the way under your counter. The circular top is a durable metal and real brass finish, perfect for matching brass fixtures in your kitchen. The top has a light brushed finish to it, and is not polished or shiny.

Meets 2014 NEC Electrical Code 406.5E for Installation in Countertops

The pop up meets code for kitchen and wet location installations in counters, it is compliant to 2014 National Electrical Code (NEC) 406.5E for countertop use in the USA and Canada. The outlet has tamper proof plugs and is UL listed, the pop up as a complete unit is ETL listed for USA installations, and cETL and CSA approved for Canadian installations. The top has passed UL’s spill proof rating.

Waterproof Protection Against Liquids

The top features the highest water protection of any pop up on the market, it has achieved an industry leading IP54 spill proof rating from UL laboratories. In the closed position the top is waterproof, a seamless top keeps watering from entering the pop up. In the open position, the electrical outlet has passed UL’s 8oz spill test. A gasket on the bottom of the pop up keeps spilled liquid from entering into the hole in the counter, and keeping liquid from entering into your cabinets.

The outlet is 20 Amp rated allowing you to plug in the most power hungry small appliances. You can also insert 15 Amp plugs into the 20 Amp outlet. The outlet has integrated GFCI protection providing safety right at the source, if the outlet recognizes an unsafe interruption in the current, it will automatically shut off power to the outlet. The outlet is weather resistant (WR) and has passed UL’s 8oz spill test. The plugs are tamper resistant (TR) ensuring you meet code, and offer the peace of mind knowing that children can’t put any small objects in the outlet, and electrocute themselves. 

The USB-A port is rated for 2.1 Amps of power, it will automatically adapt to the device being plugged in and send the maximum amount of power that the device can handle, ensuring that your device won’t be over-charged.

Cut Your Hole and Plug it in, Easy Installation

This pop up couldn’t be any easier to install, and only needs a 3.75” round hole to be cut in your countertop. After you drop the unit in the hole, secure to the underside of your counter with the included threaded flange. To supply power to the pop up and USB charging ports, simply plug the end of the 9’ cord into a 20 amp outlet. A single cord provides power to both the outlet, and the USB charging ports. Lastly, install the included trim ring (if desired), and you have completed installation.
