Under Cabinet Angled Power Strip and Two Cat6 Outlet, White Hubbell

The Hubbell RU270W20AP2CAT6 is a hardwired power box system that mounts underneath your cabinet and supplies one 20 amp power plug, and two Cat6 jacks. The box is white, and the outlet is a matching white. Keep your beautiful backsplash outlet free with under cabinet power, no more ugly white outlets in your backsplash.

Easy to Use Slim Profile Angled Power Strip

The box installs at an angle under your cabinet making it simple to plug in appliances into the outlet. The box can be installed horizontally under the cabinet so it is not seen, or vertically for even easier access to the outlets. The box is 5.6″ long, 3.39″ deep, and only 2.03″ thick. This box is low profile and includes a single power plug and two Ethernet jacks, making it easy to install while looking great under a cabinet. The box takes up zero space inside the cabinet.

20A Tamper Resistant Outlet and Cat6

The outlet is 20 amp rated and features a single tamper resistant (TR) plug allowing you to plug in the most demanding appliances.  There are 2 Ethernet jacks that are Cat6 rated, they are punch down style on the back. Inside the box is an included divider to separate the power and data from each other to meet code. The white outlet matches the white box for a clean look under the cabinet. The outlet is a standard decora outlet, so if needed, the outlet can easily be replaced should your power requirements change. The outlet is rated for residential and commercial applications. 

Quick Installation

Feed your wire through one of the 6 knockouts in the box.  There are 2 on the back, 2 on the bottom, and 1 on each side. Wire up the receptacle, and install the receptacle in the box. Use the included template to drill the holes through the cabinet, and then use the included screws to mount the power box to the underside of the cabinet. Alternatively the box can be wall mounted if desired. The outlet will need to be on a GFCI circuit to meet code. 

NEC and UL Approved for Kitchens

The box is UL E31999 listed for USA installations, and cUL and CSA approved for Canada installations. The boxes must be installed between 15 inches and 20 inches above the countertop surface to comply with NEC kitchen receptacle code.

How Many do I Need?

The code for outlets under the cabinet are the same requirements as if they were installing in the backsplash.  This is typically every 2 feet, however we highly recommend to consult with your electrician to verify your specific requirements.
