The Hubbell RU270W is a slim power box that mounts directly underneath your cabinet to conceal decora power outlets such as GFCI outlets, or decora switches such as a light switch. The box is white and designed to accept any decorator style device. Keep your beautiful backsplash free of switches and outlets with easy to install under cabinet power.
Easy to Use Slim Profile Box
The box installs at an angle under your cabinet making it simple to plug in appliances into the outlet and access switches. The box can be installed horizontally under the cabinet, so it is not seen, or vertically for even easier access to the outlets and switches. The box is 5.6″ long, 3.39″ deep, and only 2.03″ thick. This box is low profile and accommodates GFCI outlets for an easy to install and attractive solution. The box takes up zero space inside the cabinet. The box is metal with a thin plastic cover for a beautiful appearance.
NEC and UL Approved for Kitchens
The box is UL E31999 listed for USA installations, and cUL and CSA approved for Canada installations. The boxes must be installed between 15 inches and 20 inches above the countertop surface to comply with NEC kitchen receptacle code.
How Many do I Need?
The code for outlets under the cabinet are the same requirements as if they were installing in the backsplash. This is typically every 2 feet, however we highly recommend consulting with your electrician to verify your specific requirements.
Note: The under cabinet box does not include a receptacle or switch, the receptacle depth needs to be 1.31″ or less.

This item qualifies for free ground shipping to anywhere in the USA and Canada. In-stock orders are shipped the same business day Monday-Friday from Boise, ID if ordered by 6pm EST.
